Chasing My Dream
Since I was nine years old, I've wanted to play golf. This game has taken me to some amazing places, and I have made the most amazing friends. I've had ups and downs. I've had wins and losses. But dreams change along the way. As much as I still love to play golf, I enjoy it much more not competing professionally. I love helping people and I am grateful to be able to merge the two things I love into one job.
The Happy Business
It's easy to say, "I teach golf for a living."
It's a given that I want to make my way in the world doing what I love. That's why any of us do what we do. But for me there's way more to it. I'm in the business of being happy and making those around me happy. This is my "true north," my touchstone for what I can really accomplish by giving to the game what it gives me. Below is a little more about my story:
I played the highest level amateur golf, Division I college golf, and played professionally for a bit. I did all of this with an anxiety disorder and a benign tumor on my liver that I didn’t know about until 2023. It derailed my career and made me think about what my “Plan B” really would be. Since 2020 I have been working as an Assistant Golf Professional in Colorado and Florida. I love being able to work with so many different people from so many different walks of life. I get to run events, I get to teach, I get to make things that people love and that makes me happy. Working with so many different people helps me to broaden my mind and how I approach numerous situations. It has been such a learning experience being enrolled in the PGA PGM Program as I work towards my Class A PGA Membership.

My anxiety disorder was so bad that I pulled my hair out in clumps. Golf became my refuge. It saved my life.
