Here are some things I’ve accomplished along the way.
Here's my formal Bio because I have to have one. There is fun stuff below.
A native of Jacksonville, FL, Hannah Berman played her junior, high school and college golf locally and is now working between Colorado and Florida as an Assistant Golf Professional. She is kind of an interesting story…overcame ADHD and Extreme Anxiety Disorder to reach #245th ranked female amateur in the world…Two-time Jax Area Junior Champion...Selected by her hometown daily paper, the Florida Times-Union for the All-decade High School Golf Team...won Regionals twice and Districts once, and finished 9th at States her senior year…two-time captain and MVP for the Ponte Vedra High School Sharks...left for a big state public college program and transferred back to Jacksonville University because home felt better and she wanted to surround herself with the people that cared and understood…
Hannah received the JU Brady Award for Student-Athlete Leadership as a junior and was again nominated as a senior....elected by her JU student-athlete peers as the VP of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee as well as appointed by JU President Tim Cost to the Student Advisory Council...graduated with a 3.6 GPA and was a finalist for the ASUN Confrerence All-Academic Team...Hannah hit the podium three times in college, including a runner up finish at Pinehurst Classic and a top five at the Kiawah Classic, the largest tournament in the country with more than 240 players...
Representing Team USA, she won a team gold medal and individual silver medal at the 2017 World Maccabiah Games...she was the runner up at the 2019 Women's Southern Amateur and finished T1 in the 2018 Jacksonville Women's Amateur...she was the medalist at the Florida qualifier for the US Women's Amateur Fourball Championship and has played in the US Women's Amateur Championship and the British Women's Amateur Championship...
Hannah wants to be a role model for young people battling learning disabilities and prove to them that anything is possible...locally and nationally recognized for her charity work in the community…as the AJGA/USGA Presidents Leadership Award recipient and is an FSGA and JAGA scholar. Hannah likes to cook, listen to live music, play her ukulele and endlessly watch “The Office”...she is a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but she was raised on a steady diet of Boston sports teams and puts the Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox and Celtics on the front burner.
